Collaborations
Waveney Green Party – we are part of this river system, linking Halesworth, Beccles, Bungay and
Lowestoft Green Parties. We are part of a national as well as international movement, including
these:
East of England Greens – comprises the counties of Norfolk, Suffolk, Essex, Cambridgeshire, Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire. In total this represents over forty local authority areas and in most of these, there’s a local Green Party. In May 2019 we secured our greatest victory to date in the region when Catherine Rowett was elected as the first Green Party MEP for the east of England. The Green Party won in total 7 MEPs in the European Parliament election.

Norwich Green Party – is one of the most active groups in the country. Norwich has the largest group of Green Councillors in the UK with 14 city councillors and 4 county councillors who work all year round to listen to residents and support local communities.

Green Party – combining us all is the Green Party, also known as simply the Greens, a green, leftwing
political party in England and Wales. Headquartered in London, its co-leaders have been
Siân Berry and Jonathan Bartley since September 2018, with currently one MP, Caroline Lucas.
Association of Green Councillors (AGC) - is an independent and autonomous network of around
600 elected Green Party Councillors from every level of local government in England and Wales.
Greens hold 353 seats on 123 principal authority councils in England and Wales and form part of
the ruling administration in 18 Principal authority councils.
