Meet Graham Elliot

Green Party Parlimentary Candidate for Waveney

Graham Elliot

Graham lives on an organic smallholding in Barsham with his wife and two grown-up children. In 2007 he was elected as the first ever Green Party Councillor on Waveney District Council where he has had an impact well beyond that expected of a lone Councillor. He has helped save the open-air swimming pool in Beccles and has stood up for local people and local services. He has campaigned for improvements on the East Suffolk Railway Line, which will allow an hourly train service to run between Lowestoft and Ipswich. Graham is committed to local action to address global problems. If there is time to relax, Graham heads up the river by canoe to enjoy a pint of Waveney’s award winning Green Jack ale.
