Waveney Green Party – are part of this river system, linking Halesworth, Beccles, Bungay and Lowestoft Green Parties. We are part of a national as well as international movement, including these:

East of England Greens – comprises the counties of Norfolk, Suffolk, Essex, Cambridgeshire, Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire. In total this represents over forty local authority areas and in most of these, there’s a local Green Party. In May 2019 we secured our greatest victory to date in the region when Catherine Rowett was elected as the first Green Party MEP for the east of England. The Green Party won in total 7 MEPs in the European Parliament election.

Norwich Green Party – is one of the most active groups in the country. In the recent local elections (May 2022), Norwich Green Party gained an additional seat on Norwich City Council and successfully defended all seats that were up for re-election – giving the council 3 active Green Councillors.

Green Party – combining us all is the Green Party, also known as simply the Greens, a green, leftwing political party in England and Wales. Since October 2021, Carla Denyer and Adrian Ramsay have served as the party’s co-leaders. Currently one MP in the Commons Caroline Lucas, and Baroness Jones of Moulsecoomb, and Natalie Bennett in the House of Lords.
